A preparation method is to react 4-(2-chloromethyl) phenol with azepane ring under the catalysis of linear sulfuric acid to generate 4-(2-sulfoxyethoxy) benzyl-2-chlorotoluene and subsequent acidification with sulfate gave 4-(2-chloromethyl) phenyl ether hydrochloride. Finally, it is reacted with an appropriate amount of 1-amine to give the target product 1-{2-[4-(Chloromethyl) phenol] ethyl}azepane hydrochloride (1:1).
